AYUSH Indian System of Medicines

1. AYUSH health care facilities are provided to general population with special focus on rural and underprivileged section of society. Besides AYUSH medicines are provided to patients free of cost.
2. AYUSH Health & Wellness centers have been established with an objective of  Holistic approach towards wellbeing of general population where in YOGA is promoted for prevention of illness.
3.  Awareness   about home grown medicinal plants and their use in different diseases has remained one of the basic motives of the department and people are encouraged to grow medicinal herbs in kitchen garden for use in common ailments.
